Unless you mounted the PCB fan on its wrong side (which you should better check twice - 99% of the Rapman I've seen have been built with both fans upside-down !), you are probably pissed off having it sucking the dust from your desk !
And I don't even speak about the generated noise.
Let's try to find a solution for that...

The plastic conduits are just laying on my desk if I do nothing.

Mounting feet on my Rapman raised it enough to allow for an horizontal filament reel to take place under it. But I will have to take off the diagonal ties base...

In my previous post I've been printing Bogdan's right Y belt holders.
But I didn't find any allready done spare parts to replace the left Y belt holders.
So I decided to design them...

The way the bearing blocks are held on the original kit design is not ideal.
Bogdan has designed a set of spare parts to replace the bearing blocks.
So I'm gonna print and use them...

The original Rapman kit corners are very fragile and can't be strongly tighten.
Chylld has designed some replacement corners that really look terrific !
So let's have a try at printing one of them...

Not only the extruder connector is unprotected.
The PCB itself has all the electronics visible...

The second weak point IMHO is that the Rapman has no good feet.

I'd like to see how the Rapman is going to handle a more complex object with overhangs...

I know that I will have to calibrate my machine if I want as accurate prints as possible.
But for now I'm just too excited to wait and want to see it print right away !
